Use | Eplerenone (I) is a new generation of selective aldosterone antagonist developed by Pfizer, for the treatment of stage 1 and 2 hypertensive patients, the effective rate and the amplitude of lowering systolic and diastolic blood pressure were similar to those of enalapril. Eplerenone also has a good hypotensive effect in patients with essential hypertension and low renin levels who have poor effects of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor inhibitors. Eplerenone EP impurity B is an impurity that may be generated during the preparation of eplerenone. |
